After years of collaboration, Scala BYMi Management Ltd was founded by a team of three women on a shared passion for creativity, excellence and deep commitment to community building. Together, Amirah, Tharā and Sheneice bring their diverse expertise to the creation of systems that empower, elevate and inspire.
SHENEICE JAMES
Director of Creative and Corporate Strategy
With over fourteen years of experience in fashion design, brand management, strategic planning, and creative direction, Sheneice holds a Master’s in Fashion Brand Management from Polimoda. In 2021, she founded Scala The Studio, where she specialised in range planning, product design, pre-production and production support, product communications and brand strategy for clothing retail operations. At Scala BYMi, Sheneice’s blend of international experience and strategic insight drives the company’s direction, ensuring each initiative is focused and primed for long-term success.
THARĀ GABRIEL
Director of Production and Administration
Tharā brings over 14 years of diverse experience spanning administration, operations, international relations and communications. Her background demonstrates a strong capability in orchestrating resources, streamlining processes, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and on target. With a history of collaborating on multi-sectoral regional and international initiatives with organizations such as The University of the West Indies, Cap-Net UNDP Caribbean WaterNet, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean, she excels at uniting various teams to achieve both strategic and creative objectives, making her integral to Scala BYMi’s operational success.
AMIRAH GABRIEL
Director of Art and Design
Amirah brings over twelve years of cross-functional expertise in design, business administration, and strategic development. Her leadership at siebenDesigns Ltd shaped key marketing campaigns and innovative strategies, while her work at Vanus Investments Ltd included launching retail branches and enhancing visual merchandising standards. In 2021, she founded Design House BYMi, focusing on streamlined operations for small businesses. As Director of Art and Design at Scala BYMi, she leverages her combined experience in creative branding and operational efficiency to ensure that each project is executed cohesively, reflecting the conceptual vision through compelling design.
